12. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets - 10-12 (3-8)

There’s no more confusing team in the ACC than the Jackets, who have the best trio of wins in league play, beating Duke, North Carolina, and Clemson. Of course, that also means they’re winless against the other teams, including losses to Notre Dame and FSU.

Georgia Tech got its biggest win of the season, 74-73 over No. 3 North Carolina. Kyle Sturdivant had 18 points off the bench, while Miles Kelly (15) and Naithan George (16) also had big games. They were able to win without Baye Ndongo, a standout freshman for the team.

There certainly have been some rough spots in the first year for new coach Damon Stoudamire, a game out of last place in the ACC. However, with George and Ndongo, there are some real building blocks for the program going forward. If leading scorers Kowacie Reeves and Kelly come back, they can make a jump in 2024-25.

For now, they’ll need to get some wins. They have Wake Forest at home first, before going on the road at Louisville, who has been playing better of late. A loss there could put them in danger of being at the bottom.
