It's been a good opening couple of months for Atlantic 10 teams such as UMass, Davidson, and GW. Where do they stand in the latest power rankings?

10. Richmond Spiders - 6-5

The Spiders may not have Tyler Burton around but they found a new star in Jordan King, a transfer from ETSU who leads them with 19.6 ppg. Seniors Neal Quinn and Isaiah Bigelow have also picked up the scoring slack to keep this team competitive.

This team has wins over Charlotte and UNLV and lost of all of the teams better than them. That makes them a middle-of-the-pack team right now with the potential to win some games, as long as teams don't start to clamp down on King in league play.

9. George Washington Revolutionaries 9-2

The play of star guard James Bishop (16.9 ppg) has been expected and Maximus Edwards has taken a sophomore leap. But VT transfer Darren Buchanan and freshman Garrett Johnson also being double-digit scorers has been a huge boost for a team that had depth concerns coming in.

Id' like to have GW up higher but every team above them has some kind of resume to speak of. Right now, Hofstra is the best win to date for this team. And the defense has looked vulnerable against offenses that aren't so good. We'll have to wait to see how they stack up against A-10 teams but they do at least have more than Bishop to throw at them.
