10. Jamiya Neal (Creighton)

The Creighton Blue Jays have done it again in the transfer portal this time going to the former PAC-12 squad Arizona State to pick up Jamiya Neal to add to their forward depth. He is a great athlete who will look to improve his perimeter offense even more in his final season of eligibility. The incoming senior put up 11.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game for the Sun Devils, and he now finds himself in Omaha to play under Coach McDermott.

He is one of those major pieces that has put Creighton up there with some of the best total classes in the entire nation and will be a key veteran to bring immediate reliability to this Blue Jays team. McDermott has loved picking up some of those older transfers to build a team back up quickly, and this has worked quite well given their tournament success over the past few years. Neal has great size and ability at the forward spot, and he will be relied upon defensively to create turnovers and put pressure on the ball, something they have needed this offseason.

In the final year of Ryan Kalkbrenner, this team had to go out and get immediate impact players as they look to pull off another great tournament run, and potentially a championship as a dark horse candidate. But, they have to compete in the Big East first, and adding the athleticism of Neal will be a major piece in doing so. He has already played some tough basketball out west, and that should translate just fine to the Big East.
