9. Ryan Conwell (Xavier)

Indiana State created a ton of great products for the transfer portal after the departure of their Head coach, but it was not just Robbie Avila who was highly touted, Ryan Conwell was a great piece of that team as well. Conwell is a piece that any basketball team would love to go out and get, a consistent 6’4 guard who plays hard and can shoot the basketball from deep.

He was a bit overshadowed by the big man Avila, but Conwell was outstanding last season during their run and eventual snub from the NCAA Tournament. His 16.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game along with 48.2 percent shooting from the field and 40.7 percent shooting from three were part of a huge breakout season for him. And despite the loss to Seton Hall in the championship, Conwell still had a great NIT. He had 20 points against UNI and a 27-6-4 performance against the Utah Utes.

For Xavier, they will look to get another season like that out of him, and could use that great shooting he provides. He was relied upon to knock down some clutch shots throughout the year, and for a Xavier team that is looking to reestablish themselves, they need a player that can be like Souley Boum was and just hit big shots and take over a game. Conwell will find great success out in Cincinnati, and the Musketeers need this transfer to put them back in the upper echelon of this conference.
