17. Layden Blocker (DePaul)

The DePaul rebuild is going to be the most interesting one to watch in all of college basketball, and the Layden Blocker addition is a huge part of that. With that experienced Arkansas team, he did not get a ton of playing time to go out and shine, but he did play in 27 games and started in five of them. He had some performances here and there where he showed his potential, like one against Florida where he had 14 points off 4-of-7 shooting along with four rebounds and two steals. His game is well-rounded, but it will take a great coach to put it together and make that work.

Blocker has a ton of potential with three years of eligibility remaining, and for Chris Holtmann to already get a transfer like him that is a great sign for Blue Demon fans going forward. He is a great defender and can do a ton at that guard spot with his athleticism. He is a project right now, but at a school like DePaul, he should still be able to get plenty of playing time this upcoming season. He was a four-star prospect out of high school, and this program will look to harness that talent next season.

The roster for DePaul next season is entirely new and includes 10 transfers which has been standard for this program, but after this season, the Blue Demons will try to keep their newfound youth, and Blocker can be a part of some new consistency for this program.
