3. Creighton Blue Jays

The Creighton Blue Jays have continued to be an absolute powerhouse this season in this Big East Conference. While they do have some tough losses like one to UNLV, this has still looked like yet another great Creighton team that will have a chance to win this conference. Having Ryan Kalkbrenner down low makes this team so tough to shut down, especially for Big East teams that may not have a true seven-footer like themselves or UConn.

They did lose to those Huskies in a fashion that was not even close, and the margin of that game is what holds them back from entering that top two. While they found themselves on the winning end of a triple-overtime victory over the Seton Hall Pirates, it was one of those games where both teams deserved to win, but one of them had to lose. There were also some moments in terms of officiating that point to Seton Hall maybe deserving to win that game instead of Creighton. So in terms of the Seton Hall Creighton debate, we will find that out when the rematch in Omaha happens.

This team shoots a ton of threes, and has the physicality to win down low if need be, the addition of Steven Ashworth from Utah State has also been a huge addition for this team, especially since Trey Alexander has really found his stride this year. The Blue Jays are going to continue to be a threat, but they have to avenge some Big East losses before entering the top two.
