Oregon Ducks - Grade: A-

It took a failed NCAA appeal for it to be official but Oregon will be without its two stars from last season to eligibility, Jermaine Couisnard and N’Faly Dante. The team also lost a couple of rotation guards to the portal in Kario Oquendo and Brennan Rigsby. However, a good case can be made that the team just about upgraded in almost every position via the portal.

The Ducks added Ra’Heim Moss, a 15 ppg scoring guard from Toledo, as well as TJ Bamba, a multi-year starter at both Washington State and Villanova. They’re paired with Jackson Shelstad, one of the best sophomore guards in the country next season.

In the frontcourt, Supreme Cook (Georgetown) and Brandon Angel (Stanford) are two more starters who replace Dante inside and likely will start too. Plus, keeping the former 5-star duo (Kwame Evans and Mookie Cook) for another year helps them raise their ceiling as they head to the Big Ten next season.

As long as the sophomore core came back, this was going to be a successful offseason for the program. But a clearly successful transfer portal haul gives Oregon plenty of hope to stay in the postseason mix going forward.
