8. Josh Cohen (USC)

2023-24 season at UMass: 15.9 PPG | 6.8 RPG | 1.7 APG | 54.4 FG% | 34.4 3PT%

UMass transfer Josh Cohen initially committed to Arkansas but flipped over to USC following Mussleman's departure. Cohen previously spent his first three seasons with St Francis before transferring to UMass for his senior season, where he quickly blossomed into one of the best players in the Atlantic 10, ranking eighth in scoring. It will take some time for him to get used to Big Ten play, but Cohen has the size and scoring to compete with the other centers in the conference.

7. Kobe Johnson (UCLA)

2023-24 season at USC: 10.9 PPG | 4.6 RPG | 3.3 APG | 40.4 FG% | 31.3 3PT%

Kobe Johnson makes the rare cross-city trip over from rival USC and joins Cronin's UCLA squad. Johnson's scoring averages dipped slightly last season with the Trojans, but he makes up for it with his passing, as he averaged 3.3 assists last year. Johnson will always have plenty of upside on offense, but he will really shine on defense, where he earned Pac-12 All-Defensive team honors the last two seasons with 2.2 steals per game. Expect Johnson to quickly emerge as one of the best defenders in the Big Ten in 2024-25.
