6. Connor Essegian (Nebraska)

2023-24 season at Wisconsin: 3.2 PPG | 0.8 RPG | 0.2 APG | 38.5 FG% | 30.3 3PT%

Connor Essegian's numbers weren't eye-popping with the Badgers last season, but he has shown that he can be a difference maker if given the right opportunity. The addition of AJ Storr to the Wisconsin lineup relegated Essegian to a reserve role last year after he started 19 games during his freshman year, but he will be a huge focal point of Fred Hoiberg's offense at Nebraska which needs three-point shooting after losing standout Kesei Tominaga to graduation.

Essegian isn't known for his defense, but brings the scrappiness and hustle plays that have often defined Hoiberg's squads over the past few seasons. Expect him to regain his 2022-23 form and play a pivotol role with the Huskers in 2024-25.

5. Sean Stewart (Ohio State)

2023-24 season at Duke: 2.6 PPG | 3.2 RPG | 0.2 APG | 57.1 FG% | 0.0 % 3PT

Like Essegian, Stewart was lost in the fold of a loaded Duke squad that reached the Elite Eight last season. Now, he joins forces with new Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler and the Buckeyes, who have put together a stacked transfer class of their own (more on that later).

While Stewart didn't see much action at Duke, he entered college as a top-25 prospect, so the upside and potential are there for Stewart to succeed in Columbus. Plus, he has three years of eligibility remaining, which is a pot of gold for Diebler and company if Stewart blossoms into a star.
