10. Oregon Ducks

It took a while but we now know the fate of Oregon’s star big man and leading scorer/rebounder, N’Faly Dante. He averaged 17.0 ppg and 9.2 rpg and dealt with injuries throughout his career. He was looking for a waiver for another season but was denied twice by the NCAA, ending his college career.

Replacing Dante in the Ducks’ frontcourt is Supreme Cook, the starting forward from Georgetown. The new-look frontcourt includes Stanford transfer Brandon Angel, freshman Ibrahima Traore, and returning forwards, Nate Bittle and Jadrian Tracey.

Although Jermaine Cousinard is gone, point guard Jackson Shelstad could be the big breakout star in the Big Ten next season. Joining him are two key guard transfers in Ra’Heim Moss and TJ Bamba. If Bamba, who struggled at Villanova can get back into form like he was at Washington State, could give them a quality perimeter in the league.

Ultimately, the ceiling/floor for the Ducks will come down to how much former 5-star prospects KJ Evans and Mookie Cook improve. Both dealt with injuries as freshmen but should be 100%. If these wings have breakout campaigns, this team will vault up several spots in the league.
