15. Oregon Ducks

2023-24 season record: 24-12 (12-8 Pac-12)

Although the Ducks won 24 games overall, they needed a surprise Pac-12 title run to make the Big Dance and avoid another missed season for Coach Dana Altman. They’re losing several key players, including leading scorer Jermaine Couisnard and center N’Faly Dante (17.0 ppg and 9.2 rpg). Dante has run out of eligibility but reportedly is seeking a waiver for another year.

There are some talented returning pieces to the roster, led by Jackson Shelstad (12.8 ppg and 2.8 apg). He was one of the top freshman point guards in NCAA Basketball and will be a consensus breakout candidate to watch next season. Jadrian Tracey (7.6 ppg) had an impact in his first year, along with former 5-star forward prospect, Kwame Evans.

Nathan Bittle and Mookie Cook suffered injuries last season but will be back, along with senior guard, Keeshawn Barthelemy. To add to the frontcourt depth in Brandon Angel, a 6’8 forward from Stanford. He’s coming off a career-high 13.0 ppg and 4.7 rpg, shooting 57% from the field and 45% from deep in limited attempts.

Oregon still has several roster spots left to fill so expect them to find some veteran pieces. They have a few potential stars that should keep them viable in the Big Ten but there are definitely some questions as to who will truly emerge in 2025.
