It's been a fairly interesting past couple of weeks in Big Ten Basketball, with some teams making moves, both up and down both in the standings and power rankings overall. Two teams, in particular, have had their respective fortunes changed.

Here's a look at the latest rankings for the Big Ten.

14. Michigan Wolverines - 8-16 (3-10)

Things have gone South for Michigan, going through a stretch of 10 losses in 11 games. Plus, things haven't even been competitive, with the last five defeats all being in at least double-digits, including a 32-point loss at Purdue.

But all hope isn't loss, as the Wolverines got its biggest win of the year, beating Wisconsin at home last week. The final score was 72-68, led by 16 points from Dug McDaniel, and 30 points and 24 rebounds combined from the starting frontcourt trio of Terrance Williams Jr., Olivier Nkamhoua, and Tarris Reed. They even got 11 points off the bench from Will Tschetter.

Of course, being on the road is a completely different story for Michigan since McDaniel isn't able to play. At Nebraska this past weekend, the lost 79-59, with Nimari Burnett (18 points), the only double-digit scorer on the team.

The good news is that the six-game road suspension for McDaniel is almost up, giving Michigan some hope to get 10+ wins on the season and out of the Big Ten basement. But it might not happen until after next week, with matchups with Illinois and Michigan State coming up.
