Bracketology 2024: Houston, Creighton, and Nebraska among week's biggest winners

Much like has been the case in recent years, the Pac-12 is not exactly going to compete with leagues like the Big 12 or SEC to put several teams into the NCAA Tournament. The league will get a few teams, even if only two look really secure at this point. Colorado has been one of those teams that seem like a potential dancer, with a sweep over Washington, and wins over Oregon, Washington State, and a few others on the resume.
They improved their standing this past week against a fellow bubble team, winning 89-65 in a laugher over Utah. They got revenge for a loss three weeks earlier against the Utes and won a second-straight game. This was just a Quad 2 win for the Buffaloes, but this 24-point win certainly has the Buffaloes trending in the right direction.
Many had Utah in better shape than Colorado entering this week and they surely changed that fortune in a major way. The Buffaloes sill have work to do in the weeks to come, but this win was vital. They solidified their position, got another nice win, avenged a rough outing against a conference rival, and have winnable games next week at home against California and Stanford before a key game in Eugene against Oregon in early March.
