It's another week of big-time results from teams needing to break through from a Bracketology standpoint. There were a number of programs that got big wins and should be declared "winners". Here's a list of the top-10.

Alabama Crimson Tide

The Tide wasn't in any danger of missing out on the NCAA Tournament but they definitely needed a signature win to move up a seedline or two. And they got it, beating rival and top-10 team Auburn at home for a clear Quad 1 win, before following it up with 109 points in a dominant victory over LSU to help its metrics even more.

With a 5-6 record against Quad 1/2 opponents and a NET ranking in the top 10, Alabama is in a position to fight for a 3 or 4 seed. They have two more winnable games this week against Georgia and Mississippi State to keep pace in the SEC title race.

Mississippi State Bulldogs

Speaking of Mississippi State, they entered last weekend having lost 4 of the last 6 games to fall squarely onto the bubble. They had a massive opportunity at home against Auburn to get another big win. They were able to do that with a 64-58 victory, led by 17 points from Josh Hubbard.

To join the previous win over Tennessee, the Bulldogs now have a 6-5 record against Quad 1/2 foes, including a couple of signature wins at the top. They still have the Quad 4 defeat to Southern holding them back, while the road loss to Georgia Tech could slide to Quad 3 range. They have a pair of Quad 1 battles coming up on the road at Ole Miss and Alabama. A split would be ideal for them.
