This past week was a historic set of moments in NCAA Basketball, especially when it came to upsets. Four top-5 teams lost in a span of 48 hours for the first time, with at least 10 ranked programs falling in a span of seven days.

That means there were plenty of "winners" in the category of Bracketology and building respective resumes for Selection Sunday. I could've profiled more than 10 but this time, I opted to add some in the "honorable mentions" category instead.

HM: Santa Clara Broncos

After losing 26 straight games, Santa Clara finally got a win over the juggernaut WCC program, beating Gonzaga. Although the Bulldogs aren't strong itself, it's still that would resonate with the Selection Committee if they ran through the WCC. However, a blowout loss at home to Saint Mary's takes some lusted off the Gonzaga breakthrough.

HM: New Mexico Lobos

A loss at UNLV was fairly rough for the Lobos, sparking concerns that like last year, a losing skid was coming. But a big second half performance gave them a 16-point home win over San Diego State, easily their best win of the season. Overall, New Mexico will take the spilt and the signature resume win.

HM: Butler Bulldogs

The Butlers also got a split, beating Marquette on the road and losing to Seton Hall at home. They're 2-4 in league play and needs to start winning more than losing to have a real shot at an at-large bid. But since the Pirates are killing it as of late, that certainly wasn't a bad loss this weekend.
