Incoming recruiting class

SF Cooper Flagg: 5-Star and #1 overall recruit in the 2024 class from Newport, ME
SF Isaiah Evans: 5-Star recruit (13th overall) from Huntersville, NC
SF Kon Knueppel: 5-Star (17th overall) out of Milwaukee, WI
C Khaman Maluach: 5-Star (4th overall) from South Africa
C Patrick Ngongba II: 4-Star (19th overall) from Fairfax, VA
SF Darren Harris: 4-Star (37th overall) from Fairfax, VA

It is hard to look at this top-ranked Duke recruiting class without first noticing the collective size of the group. With an average height of 6'8 between these six newcomers and guys like Flagg and Evans able to play multiple positions on the floor, this class should be a nightmare for everyone in the ACC. Flagg comes in as not only the best incoming recruit in the country, but one of the highest rated players Duke has ever recruited. From this video posted by Duke during live scrimmages, it looks like Flagg is fitting into the intensity of college basketball just fine.

The Duke program lives in the spotlight of national attention year after year but the national title aspirations as real as ever for this team if they are able to gel together going into March. The overall size of this roster is likely to cause problems all over the floor for opposing teams.

It should be entertaining to watch them in the early part of the season in its yearly appearance in the Champions Classic against Kentucky, as well as the second installment of a home-and-home at Arizona and a neutral site game against Kansas later on in November.
