Like every year, Duke Basketball lost a ton of players on its roster, usually to the NBA Draft. However, the difference this offseason was that a number of players also entered the transfers portal, including starting guard Jeremy Roach, as well as former 5-star prospects such as Sean Stewart and TJ Power to other teams.

But the Blue Devils still have the No. 1 overall incoming recruiting class joining the team, along with a couple of key returning pieces to the roster. How will the minute allocation ultimately work out? Here's a projected look at the depth chart for the team.

Point Guard

Projected starter: Tyrese Proctor (26 mpg)

Backups: Caleb Foster (14 mpg)

The former 5-star prospect averaged 10.5 ppg and 3.7 apg as a sophomore, playing alongside Roach in the backcourt. Proctor now will be the clear lead guard for the Blue Devils. He shot 35% from deep and had four games with at least 18 points last season. Look for him to have an even larger role as an experienced upperclassman to watch.

Although a certain transfer could also get minutes at point, look for Foster to get most of the minutes when Proctor goes to the bench. The other former 5-star recruit averaged 7.7 ppg and 2.1 apg as a freshman, starting 15 games and shooting 41% from deep on 2.6 attempts a game.

Foster had eight games of double-digit points, including 18 against Michigan State. He's going to be one of the top sophomore breakout candidates to watch next season and his minutes could be even bigger than expected if that works out.
