Indiana State Men's Basketball secures impressive 40-point victory over Valpo

Indiana State men's basketball showcased dominance in their recent game against Valparaiso, clinching a resounding 40-point victory with a final score of 101-61. Led by Robbie Avila, who matched his career-high of 27 points on an impressive 10-of-12 shooting, the Sycamores displayed a stellar offensive performance. Julian Larry and Ryan Conwell contributed 12 points each, while Xavier Bledson added 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Notably, Indiana State had five players scoring in double figures, highlighting their depth and versatility.

Additionally, Indiana State attacked the boards with intensity, recording their highest rebound total as a team with 49 rebounds in the game against Valpo. This remarkable rebounding effort allowed the Sycamores to control the game and secure a decisive victory. Notably, this rebounding margin of 21 against their opponent was the highest of the season, highlighting their dominance in the paint and ability to outmuscle their opponents. The Sycamores' recent victory also marked their fourth 20-plus-point win against MVC opponents this season, strengthening their standing as a force in the conference.

Indiana State's men's basketball team is experiencing one of its most successful seasons under the leadership of Coach Josh Schertz.
