Indiana State Men's Basketball secures MVC Regular Season Title with victory over Murray State

Indiana State men's basketball etched their names into the annals of Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) history on Sunday, claiming the regular-season championship with authority in an 89-77 victory over Murray State. With their triumph, the Sycamores not only secured sole possession of first place but also clinched the coveted No. 1 seed for the upcoming 2024 State Farm MVC Tournament, adding another accolade to their remarkable season.

The win against Murray State marked a culmination of Indiana State's dominance throughout the regular season, where they amassed an impressive 26-5 record overall, including an outstanding 17-3 performance in MVC play. Led by standout performances from Ryan Conwell and Robbie Avila, who collectively accounted for 47 points, the Sycamores showcased their offensive firepower and defensive resilience, leaving no doubt about their championship credentials.

Throughout the game, Indiana State maintained control, never allowing Murray State to gain a foothold in the contest.
