2014 UConn national title team

The 2013-14 UConn Huskies’ season was eerily similar to the 2022-23 performance.

At the end of the year, the Huskies finished at 32-8 overall and brought home another banner for the already historic program.

UConn started the season as No. 18 on the preseason AP Poll before dropping out of the top-25 in week 11 after losses to Houston and SMU.

Then-head coach Kevin Ollie coached the Huskies back to greatness and led them through the NCAA Tournament to the national title.

Ollie’s squad was led by Shabazz Napier, Ryan Boatright, and Niels Giffey who weren’t on the same star power level as the current Huskies’ roster.
