Is this the greatest UConn men’s basketball team we have ever seen?

2004 UConn national title team
The 2004 Big East Tournament champion UConn Huskies went on to dominate the NCAA Tournament.
This team could give the 2023-24 squad a run for its money. UConn spent the entire 2003-04 season in the top 10 including six weeks as the nation’s No. 1 team.
Emeka Okafor, Ben Gordon, Charlie Villanueva, Hilton Armstrong, Marcus Williams, and Josh Boone.
Do those names sound familiar? They were all selected in the first rounds of their years’ NBA Drafts, and they were on Calhoun’s 2004 national title roster.
No matter if it was the starting five or the first five off the bench, the Huskies blew past their opponents at every turn of the season.
In the national championship game, UConn took down Georgia Tech 82-73 to finish its season at 33-6 overall.
