1st overall: Atlanta Hawks - C, Alexandre Sarr, France

Alexandre Sarr is the projected first pick in this year's NBA Draft, and with the Atlanta Hawks expected to hold onto the selection, it makes a lot of sense to take one of the players with the highest ceiling in Sarr.

A 7-foot-1 center with the ability to play inside and outside. Sarr played in the NBL last season, averaging 9.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 0.9 assists in 17.3 minutes of action. However, like Risacher, Sarr is playing in a professional league, so the numbers aren't going to be inflated.

Sarr from last year to this year made a massive jump. If you watched him play a year ago, you wouldn't think he'd be in consideration for the number one pick, but his growth and development have been noticeable. He has the potential to be an elite shot blocker and a three-level scorer with his size and length, which would make him the most dynamic player in the draft, and that is exactly what scouts are seeing in his upside.

He does have areas for improvement, and a lot of it falls into his overall motor and aggression. Some question if he can be an every-game center in the NBA. If he can get better touch around the rim, rebound consistently, and become more confident with his post moves, he can be the best player to come out of this draft and become an all-star-caliber player at the next level.
