NBA Draft 2025: Mock top 30 Big Board list of top college players for 2024-25 season
3. Dylan Harper - Rutgers Scarlet Knights
2023-24 season stats: N/A
Alongside Ace Bailey, Harper is the other top-5 incoming 5-star freshman. He’s more of a true ball-handler, listed at 6’6 with great size, and can play well on and off the ball. Harper’s all-around game will be on display at Rutgers and he’ll be fighting with French prospect Nolan Traore for being the first ball-handler taken off the board.
2. VJ Edgecombe - Baylor Bears
2023-24 season stats: N/A
Edgecombe is a 6’5 wing prospect who is one of the best true athletes in college basketball next season and will replace 1st-round draft pick JaKobe Walter as Baylor’s next star forward. He can do everything well offensively and joins a system with a proven track record of excelling with 5-star talent and Edgecombe should be no different.
1. Cooper Flagg - Duke Blue Devils
2023-24 season stats: N/A
There may have been a question as to who the No. 1 NBA Draft pick was this past week but right now, that’s not the case in 2025. That was decided as soon as Flagg reclassed to play next season in college. The unanimous No. 1 incoming freshman forward is an elite two-way prospect, capable of scoring anywhere on the court, while also being an athletic interior presence, including shot-blocking.
Duke has had plenty of eventual No. 1 draft picks, with Zion Williamson and Paulo Banchero being the latest examples. Barring someone else blowing up out of nowhere, look for Flagg to be the next one to come from Durham.
