21. Ryan Kalkbrenner - Creighton Bluejays

2023-24 season stats: 17.3 ppg and 7.6 rpg

Kalkbrenner might not be as mobile or athletic as Donovan Clingan but Zach Edey getting drafted in the top 10 gives him some hope. He’s arguably the best interior defender in the country, earning a trio of Big East Defensive POY Awards. He’s also a solid scorer in his own right and started to show an ability to space the floor. With the top two scorers gone at Creighton, look for Kalkbrenner to have an even larger role in the offense.

20. Tyrese Proctor - Duke Blue Devils

2023-24 season stats: 10.5 ppg and 3.7 apg

The 6’5 guard was a projected lottery pick before the start of last season but didn’t have that breakout campaign as many expected. Proctor did shoot 35% from deep and with Jeremy Roach gone, will now be the lead guard at Duke. He still has the measurables and the skillset to be appealing for pro teams and a junior breakout year could possibly get him back into the lottery.

19. Tyon Grant- Foster - Grand Canyon Antelopes

2023-24 season stats: 20.1 ppg and 6.1 rpg

The 6’7 wing was one of the best stories in college basketball last season, earning WAC POY honors in his first season back after missing two years with reported heart issues. Grant-Foster's game is a natural fit for the NBA but the big question with him is whether he’ll be medically approved to play at the next level.
