12. JT Toppin - Texas Tech Red Raiders

2023-24 season stats: 12.4 ppg and 9.1 rpg

The 6’9 forward and former Mountain West ROY (New Mexico) was a standout freshman, known for his elite defensive and rim-running ability. Toppin had a pair of 16-rebound games and went for 25 points and 13 rebounds at Air Force among his top games. He’s now on a bigger stage at Texas Tech in the Big 12 where if he has a big sophomore campaign, could be a lottery pick. 

11. Alex Karaban - UConn Huskies

2023-24 season stats: 13.3 ppg and 5.1 rpg

Karaban is the only starter left from the national-title-winning programs, one of the more efficient players in the country. The 6’8 forward shot 50% from the field and 38% from deep, including eight games of at least 20 points. Karaban will go from being the 4th or 5th option on offense to likely the first and a big breakout campaign will have him rise up the boards to being the next lottery pick at UConn.

10. Jalil Bethea - Miami Hurricanes

2023-24 season stats: N/A

Bethea is a 6’5 combo guard who is an outstanding pure scorer coming out of high school. He’s a consensus 5-star and consensus top-10 incoming freshman with a ready-made game for the pros. He’ll be paired with Nijel Pack to be one of the better backcourts in the country and in an offensive-friendly system, should thrive and put up big numbers next season.
