As of now, the biggest thing to watch in NCAA Basketball is the transfer portal, seeing where many top players will end up. Just as important is the looming NBA Draft, which is a couple of months from now. Already, some notable names have indicated that they'll be forgoing the rest of their college eligibility, including Bub Carrington, Tyler Kolek, and Justin Edwards.

There are some other names to watch when it comes to their own decisions, including some currently projected to be drafted. Here's a look at 10 players whose moves will impact both their teams and NCAA Basketball as a whole.

10. DJ Wagner - Kentucky Wildcats

2023-24 season stats: 9.9 ppg and 3.3 apg

Due to how good both Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham looked off the bench, Wagner flew under the radar. The freshman wasn't bad but certainly wasn't as efficient as the others, shooting 40% from the field and 29% from deep. He did have some big games this past season, including a 28-point effort against Marshall and 18 points and 10 assists versus Georgia.

In a weak draft, Wagner may have to leave anyway since he's still projected to be a top-45 pick. But if he returns, look for him to be a national breakout candidate as a sophomore. If Wagner does do that, the next question would be which team he'll do that on?

9. Ryan Dunn - Virginia Cavaliers

2023-24 season stats: 8.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg, and 2.3 bpg

The 6'8 forward is one of the best true athletes in all of NCAA Basketball, capable of guarding all five positions on the court. His game is perfect for the NBA when it comes to his defensive impact and regardless of the offensive limitations, would find a role.

The issue for Virginia is that they've had a talent drain recently and won't have leading scorer, Reece Beekman, anymore. Dunn would be the most talented player on the roster if he were to return. If not, the Cavaliers and Coach Tony Bennett would be in trouble in 2025.
