Alabama Crimson Tide

The Tide has been all too familiar with Onyenso in the past two seasons and could use a true interior defender to improve the poor defense from this past year. They lost two rotation bigs, Mohamed Wague and Nick Pringle to the portal. Plus. Grant Nelson is undecided on a 5th year. If Mark Sears returns, they’re set offensively; they just need a great defender to balance things out.

BYU Cougars

The entire frontcourt for the Cougars is gone after the coaching change, as Foussenyi Traore, Aly Khalifa, and Atiki Ally Atiki entered the portal. New coach Kevin Young will need to rebuild the roster and it’s a situation where Onyenso can come in and have a large role on both ends. Avoiding being in another roster logjam should be priority No. 1 and the rebuilding Cougars are a legit option.

Georgetown Hoyas

After the recent departure of Supreme Cook, the Hoyas frontcourt is down to Ryan Mutombo, Drew Fielder, and incoming freshman, Thomas Sorber. The team does have a solid backcourt on paper, with Jayden Epps back and joined by transfers Malik Mack and Micah Peavy. Adding a big like Onyenso could be what turns Georgetown back into Big East contention.
