In the "one and done" era, teams like Duke and Kentucky typically are some of the youngest teams in NCAA Basketball. They're filled with talented five-star freshmen who are around 1-2 years max. One prime example that's been an exception to the rule is Jeremy Roach, a 6'1 guard from Leesburg, Virginia.
Roach was a five-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class, starting 18 games as a freshman. He's been a starter throughout his career at Duke, 108 games total. His production has steadily increased over the years, coming off a career-high 14.0 ppg and 3.3 apg this past season, on 47% shooting from the field and 43% from three-point range.
Roach, who was named to an All-ACC team, had four games of at least 20 points. That includes 22 points against Arkansas, along with 19 points and six rebounds in a win over Louisville. He was in double figures in all four NCAA Tournament games, including 15 points and seven assists in the Round of 32 victory over James Madison.

The senior guard has entered the NBA Draft process a couple of times but has opted to return. He had the chance to come back to the Blue Devils for a 5th year, joining Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster. But this time around, Roach is likely going to play for a different program for the 2024-25 season, entering the transfer portal.
Which programs are potential contenders to watch for Roach? Here's a list of eight teams that could be in play.
