On Monday, the transfer portal fully opened in NCAA Basketball, allowing players to become free agents this offseason. In the first few days, already over 600 players had entered, with plenty more coming as more teams' seasons start to end. Most of the entrants have been good mid-major players or guys who came off the bench at the power conference level.

But a few notable guys have also entered who are sure to get plenty of interest. Arguably the biggest and most impactful name to enter was Cliff Omoruyi, a three-year starting center at Rutgers. The 6'11 and 240-pound big man is a former top-50 prospect out of high school and ever since he became a full-time starter, became one of the top interior defenders in NCAA Basketball.

The multi-time All-Big Ten defender is coming off a career-high 2.9 blocks per game average this season, including a 12-point, 13-rebound, and 8-block performance against Wisconsin. Omoruyi also had four games with at least 19 points, averaging 10.4 ppg and 8.3 rpg overall.

In NCAA Basketball, having a quality rim protector can be the difference between being a good and a great team. So now that the big man has officially entered the transfer portal, a case can be made that all of the teams should be interested. But who has the best shot at landing the New Jersey native? Here's a list of eight programs that should at least make a run at Omoruyi.
