15. Auburn (22-7)

When they’re on their game, Auburn is a top-level talent and can win big games. Unfortunately, the Tigers have been dropping several of those games in recent weeks, with some tough road matchups and a rough outing against Kentucky. Blowout wins over Alabama and South Carolina continue to look great, but this week came with additional struggle.

That struggle manifested on Wednesday as the Tigers fell 92-84 at Tennessee in one of the best matchups of the week. The offense played well, with 23 points and 9 rebounds from Johni Broome, but the Volunteers shot the ball really well in their win. Thankfully, Auburn bounced back over the weekend while back at home, getting a 78-63 win against Mississippi State. Broome led the team again, this time with 17 points and 6 rebounds, while Denver Jones added 15 points.

The Tigers have traded wins and losses during a rough stretch of their schedule, but this certainly hasn’t broken them. They’ve got talent and could do some pretty cool things in the postseason, especially with the way a really efficient offense has been playing for most of the year. Before they can think about that, Auburn will hope to finish strong as heavy favorites against Missouri and Georgia next week.
