9. Duke (23-6)

It’s a down year in the ACC, but Duke has still played pretty solid basketball recently. Much of the recent news surrounded that court-storming situation at Wake Forest, though that’s their only loss in the last four weeks. We say this after yet another week where the Blue Devils proved they’re playing like a Top 10 team if not better.

In a result that’s very unsurprising, Duke handled Louisville back on Wednesday night, earning an 84-59 win over the Cardinals. Jeremy Roach had 19 points and 6 rebounds while Mark Mitchell had 17 points and 7 rebounds. Things went even better during the weekend, as Duke delivered in a 73-48 win at home against Virginia. The Blue Devils limited an anemic Cavaliers offense and were led by Kyle Filipowski’s 21 points and 7 rebounds.

For the most part these Blue Devils have been winning the games they’re supposed to win. They’ve shown impressive resolve on offense all season long and especially in recent weeks. Duke has had some really great performances and hopes to continue that deep into Jon Scheyer’s second March as head coach. For now there’s a ton of focus on getting revenge against North Carolina next weekend.
