22. Miami Hurricanes

Coming off an awful past season, Miami had some changes to its roster, including some late entrants to the transfer portal. Starters Norchad Omier and Wooga Poplar are two of the best available players in the portal and are losses but the team was able to replace them already.

In the frontcourt, Miami added a pair of 13 ppg scoring bigs in Brandon Johnson (ECU) and Lynn Kidd (Virginia Tech). Kidd, a proven ACC starter and coming off a breakout season, is a 6’10 center and gives them the kind of size that they didn’t have last year. Combo forward Matthew Cleveland is also back and can play at the four, though the loss of Wooga could have him at the three right now.

In the backcourt remains Nijel Pack, one of the best pure shooters in all of NCAA Basketball. 5-star guard prospect Jalil Bethea is going to have a major impact, along with four-star incoming freshmen, Austin Swartz and Isaiah Johnson-Arigu.

The latest addition is Jalen Blackmon, a 6’3 scoring guard from Stetson. He was one of the top-10 scorers in the country at 21.3 ppg and gives Miami a needed offensive boost. There are still some depth concerns that plagued them last season but this current group is more well-rounded.
