23. Texas A&M Aggies

Biggest need: A traditional big

Although the pending decision of Wade Taylor IV is the biggest storyline of Texas A&M’s offseason, the Aggies will need frontcourt depth. If Julius Marble, who did not play this season after dealing with a “university process,” according to Buzz Williams, does not return, who can fill the frontcourt? Wildens Leveque and Henry Coleman are gone, although Coleman does have a COVID year of eligibility. Solomon Washington and Andersson Garcia are strong frontcourt pieces but are a far cry from a “traditional big”, making the position an ideal target for Buzz Williams & Co.

22. Dayton Flyers

Biggest need: Potential DaRon Holmes replacement

The storyline for Dayton’s offseason centers around what the A-10 Player of the Year, DaRon Holmes, elects to do, who finds himself on most NBA Draft mock boards yet has not officially announced his intentions as of April 17, 2024. The recent departure of Koby Brea -- one of the most efficient shooters in college basketball -- to the transfer portal hurts their stock but finding a (potential) replacement for Holmes is the task ahead. Ohio State transfer Zed Key helps fill some frontcourt depth yet it's likely the Flyers will need to find a DaRon Holmes replacement if they wish to catapult off of last season’s success.
