Texas A&M Aggies - 15-12 (6-8 SEC)

The Aggies started out as a top-15 team that got a nice win over Iowa State in the non-con. However, the inability to take care of business has cost them dearly, as they have three losses (Memphis, LSU, Arkansas), which now counts as a Quad 3 setback.

But the worst defeat for Texas A&M is a road loss at Vanderbilt, which is close to Quad 4 range. It’s one of a current four-game losing skid, having lost to Arkansas and Tennessee last week. With four Quad 3 losses, their resume is extremely shaky and they now have 12 losses with four regular-season games to go.

That puts the Aggies in clear “must-win” territory this week, starting with a home game against South Carolina. The Gamecocks are a Quad 2 opportunity and they’ve struggled recently, making them vulnerable to an Aggies upset.

After that is a matchup with Georgia, a team that also has been sliding in SEC play. It’s another Quad 2 game that wouldn’t hurt Texas A&M individually but they can’t afford another loss, ahead of games against Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Going 3-1 overall is a must for the Aggies to have any NCAAT hopes going forward.
