15. Creighton (14-5)

While there have been a few missteps this season, Creighton is a great team in fantastic shape in recent seasons. The roster looks a little different from last year’s Elite Eight run, but the Bluejays are a talented and experienced team that looks to do damage in the Big East and beyond. Unfortunately they faced quite the behemoth of a schedule this past week.

It started with what might be their toughest game of the season, as the Bluejays lost 62-48 at Connecticut back on Wednesday night. A rough offensive game did include a 14-point effort from Steven Ashworth, but the Bluejays were clearly outworked and outplayed on the road. Saturday wasn’t as challenging and certainly felt extra sweet, with Creighton surviving a thriller, winning 97-94 at Seton Hall in triple overtime. Among the notable performances were 28 points and 9 rebounds from Ryan Kalkbrenner and 23 points from Trey Alexander.

The Bluejays have talent all over the court and have faced a tough road already in the Big East. Those losses all came to top-tier teams in the conference, plus Creighton has three conference road wins already. Kalkbrenner and Scheierman are two names to watch for the rest of the season and will both have a simpler time ahead, as a long homestand starts against Xavier and DePaul.
