NCAA Basketball: Houston, Gonzaga, and UConn headlines Sunday Mailbag

Conference play has begun which means that the Busting Brackets Sunday Mailbag is back. There are probably a lot of you who are not familiar with what we do for the Sunday Mailbag. Let me fill you in. This is the article that you the reader get to contribute to.
Every Monday morning and then each subsequent day through Friday I will tweet out that I am ready for the Sunday Mailbag questions. Then as you respond to the tweet with your questions, I promise I will provide a well thought out and researched response. The article will be posted every Sunday with those answers.
This week there were some great reader questions. The first question has to do with some teams and conferences that have impressed me the most so far this season. There is another question that references a top 5 team and if they are for real this year. Then finally I had a question that was asked to me outside of Twitter/X about the former national champions and another Big Ten team who may be flying under the radar a little bit. I am then going to provide my answers to two questions of my own.
