NCAA Basketball: Jeremy Roach, Oumar Ballo among week's top transfer portal pickups
27. Myron Amey - San Jose State to LMU
2023-24 season stats: 15.7 ppg and 5.1 rpg
The 6’5 guard led San Jose State in scoring, shooting 36% from deep. Amey had nine games with at least 20 points, including a 30-point effort against Boise State. The scoring guard returns home to California, joining a rebuilding LMU squad that lost one of its top shooters in the country (Dominick Harris) to the portal.
26. Connor Hickman - Bradley to Cincinnati
2023-24 season stats: 14.5 ppg and 2.9 apg
The leading scorer for Bradley shot 40% from three-point range and had eight games with at least 20 points. That includes a season-high 28 points against Valpo, making 6/11 from deep. Hickman joins a Bearcats backcourt that lost John Newman but returns everyone else. His shooting will need a needed addition to make them more potent next season.
25. Tyren Moore - Georgia Southern to UAB
2023-24 season stats: 17.0 ppg and 3.1 apg
The 5’11 guard not only doubled his scoring production compared to the season prior but he also was much more efficient from the field, including making 41% of his three-point shots. Moore had five games with at least 30 points this year, including a career-high 36 points in the Sun Belt Tournament loss to Appalachian State. He joins a UAB squad that’s already returning most of its production from this past season and now gets another proven scorer on the perimeter to add to the firepower.
