14. Baylor Bears - 16-5 (5-3 Big 12)

After three straight losses, Baylor was in big need of a bounce-back win. However, a road battle against UCF proved to be just as tough, trailing in the first half. The good news is that a 45-point second-half performance was able to push them ahead at the finish line to avoid another loss.

The final score was 77-69, led by 24 points off the bench from Langston Love. Rayj Dennis had 11 points and eight assists, while forwards Jalen Bridges and Yves Missi also were in double figures. It was a needed win to avoid the slide, especially since they had a ranked Iowa State coming to town a few days later.

Baylor was in complete control of the game, up double figures in the second half. But after Coach Scott got ejected with two technical fouls, the Cyclones went on a 17-0 run to take the lead. Yet again, another late run by the Bears allowed them to take the lead and hold on for the 70-68 close finish. Dennis had 18 points, while Jayden Nunn finished with 16.

The schedule only gets harder for Baylor in the next few weeks. This week alone, they get Texas Tech at home, followed by a road trip to Kansas in a battle of champion head coaches.
