21. Iowa State Cyclones - 16-5 (5-3 in Big 12)

Coming off big road wins over Kansas State and Kansas, the Cyclones found themselves in second place in the Big 12 standings and working on a potential protected seed in the NCAA Tournament. But with four true road games coming in the next few weeks, they’ll have to show that they can win outside of Hilton Coliseum.

In the lone game of the week for Iowa State, they took on Baylor on the road. It looked fairly hopeless for them early on, unable to get either a rebound or a missed three-point attempt. They were down 12 points at the half but got a gift with Scott Drew of Baylor getting ejected.

The Cyclones went on a 17-0 run at one point to get the lead but in what ended up being a thrilling finish, Iowa State lost in the end, 70-68. Keshon Gilbert finished with a game-high 24 points, while Curtis Jones chipped in with 11 off the bench.

Iowa State will remain on the road in the state of Texas, taking on the Longhorns on Tuesday. After that is a home clash with TCU, a team the Cyclones have already beaten on the road.
