NCAA Basketball: Picks for Day 123 of 2023-24 season
By Bryan Mauro
It was another full day of conference tournaments and there were surprisingly no top seeds that were upset today. Northern Iowa, Indiana State, Drake, and Bradley all won in the Missouri Valley. UNC Asheville and High Point won in the Big South. Little Rock and Morehead State won in the Ohio Valley. Those were all of the top teams who were in action today in conference tournaments. In some other games that had an impact. Dayton came back from a late deficit to beat VCU. Western Michigan scored over 50 points in the second half to beat Akron. Toledo blew out Kent State and won the MAC regular season title. Boise State won a close game against San Diego State at Viejas.
Yesterday I went 16-9 in my picks that brings my 122 day total of 3,616-1,505 total. We have finally reached the final Saturday of the regular season and there are still a lot of conference tournament games to be played today and a lot of games between bubble teams. It is also another great day of rivalry games. The CAA, Northeast, Southern, Big South, Sun Belt, Missouri Valley, Summit League, and West Coast all resume today. The Big Sky and America East begin. There is one championship game today in the Ohio Valley. Picks for day 123 March 9th, 2024, are below.

There are a ton of games tomorrow but the highlight of the day has to be the Tobacco Road rivalry between Duke and North Carolina. If North Carolina wins the game they will clinch the ACC, but if Duke wins there are a whole lot of scenarios as to who wins the league.
There will also be the first team to qualify for the NCAA tournament tomorrow in the Ohio Valley. That team will likely be a 16 seed but it will still be awesome to watch the celebration. Northwestern needs to beat Minnesota to keep their double bye hopes alive. Houston and Kansas will be a battle and it will officially clinch the Big 12 for Houston.
