Yesterday was a good day for some bubble teams and not good for some others. Nebraska lost another road game. This time it was a quad 1 loss to Northwestern. The Huskers are still in the field and have a very favorable schedule to close it out. Time for Nebraska to go on a run if they want to make the field. Providence beat Creighton in their annual Pink Out game. Seton Hall beat Georgetown. Wisconsin lost to Michigan in Ann Arbor. It is now the third straight loss for Wisconsin.

Auburn beat Alabama and Tennessee beat LSU. UCLA beat Stanford and the Bruins look like one of those teams who may make a run in the conference tournament and find themselves in the conference final. Finally, UNC Asheville beat High Point. That game was between the top two teams in the Big South conference. Asheville gives themselves a chance to win the league now.

Yesterday I went 33-19 that brings my 92 day total to 2,656-1083 overall. There are only two power conferences in action today. Those are the Big 10 and the Pac 12. Outside of that there are a lot of mid major games on the schedule today. Picks for day 93 February 8, 2024, are below.

Outside of the Pac-12 and the lone game in the Big Ten, there are a lot of quality mid-major games. UNC Wilmington and Drexel is a battle for first place in the CAA. Washington State travels to Oregon State to take on a Beavers team that is much improved. The Cougars need to avoid a loss to stay in the projected tournament field.

Can UAB pull off the upset over FAU? The Owls have been a different team away from home. There is going to be a lot of movement on the bubble every day. If you are on the bubble just keep winning everywhere to make the tournament.
