15. Florida Atlantic Owls - 9-2

The Owls had eight days to shake off the loss to Illinois in the Jimmy V Classic to take on a familiar face and former Conference USA rival, Florida International. However, the past couple of years have seen a big talent gap between the teams and it played out on Wednesday night, with FAU winning 94-60. Guards Alijah Martin and Johnell Davis combined for 30 pts and 7 stls in the win.

The big game for them was on Saturday, going on the road to take on a St. Bonaventure team that was 7-2, including several blowout wins over local foes in the New York region. The home team had the advantage early on, keeping the game close and making it a 1-point halftime lead.

But the Owls showed why they're a top-15 team in NCAA Basketball, making a big run in the second half to get a comfortable double-digit lead. FAU was able to hold on for the 64-54 defensive victory. Davis led the team with 16 pts, while big man Vlad Goldin had 11 pts and 7 rebs.

It's a great win for the Owls but now they have one huge game to deal with next week, a neutral site battle with an Arizona squad that should be angry after the loss to Purdue this weekend.
