22. Clemson Tigers - 9-1 (1-0 ACC)

After beating both South Carolina and TCU, both the AP rankings and overall national respect for the Tigers took big leaps in the past week. So everyone was ready for their road trip to Memphis this weekend to see how they'd look. With wins over Alabama and Pittsburgh already, this was a team comfortable away from home.

Clemson was in control in the first half, leading mostly and carrying a 7-point lead at the halftime break. However, Memphis' offense got into gear, eventually taking the lead and having it be a back-and-forth battle in the final minutes. Unfortunately for the Tigers of the ACC, Clemson lost 79-77. PJ Hall had a team-high 21 pts, while Chauncey Wiggins went for 19 pts on 8/12 shooting.

One player who continues to shine is Ian Schieffelin. The veteran forward had 11 pts, 11 rebs, 6 asts in 29 minutes. He's been a key breakout piece to pair with Hall in the frontcourt and his passing ability has allowed guards Chase Hunter and Joe Girard to play off the ball and focus on being shooters.

Coming off its first setback on the season, Clemson looks to rebound against Queens at home on Friday. After that is Radford to end the non-conference campaign.
