The NCAA Basketball transfer portal has been wild for the past few years but with there officially being no more restrictions on players being able to move around to other teams (plus this being the last round of "covid year" extra seasons of eligibility), more players entered the portal this offseason than ever before.

The final count of D-I players to enter the portal reached way over 1,000, with just about everyone having picked a new home. The current exception is David Coit, a former Northern Illinois guard who averaged over 20 ppg last season. who recently got a waiver from the NCAA for another year.

Everyone else is set to go for the 2024-25 season, with almost every team having added at least one transfer. There will be many roster newcomers who'll have a major impact on their respective teams but who are the top guys to watch?

Here's a power ranking of the top 100 individual D-I transfers for next season, including some honorable mentions.

Honorable Mention: Claudell Harris - Clemson Tigers

Harris was second on the team at Boston College, averaging 13.7 ppg on 37% shooting from deep. The senior guard joins returning senior Chase Hunter in Clemson's backcourt, replacing the outgoing Joe Girard.

HM: Tyler Perkins - Villanova Wildcats

As a freshman at Penn, Perkins put up 13.7 ppg on 39% shooting from the field. He could be a breakout candidate to watch at Villanova, replacing former star Justin Moore as the likely next starting shooting guard.

HM: Dion Brown - Boston College Eagles

The 6'3 guard not only scored 19.0 ppg at UMBC, but he also was one of the top rebounders in the AEC at 7.6 rpg. The do-it-all guard will be tasked with replacing all of the offensive production from the previous backcourt players as the projected go-to option for BC.
