NCAA Basketball: Ranking of top 100 impact transfers for 2024-25 season
40. Frankie Fidler - Michigan State Spartans
2023-24 season stats (at Omaha): 20.1 ppg and 6.3 rpg
The 6’7 forward was one of the best players in the Summit League last season, showing both efficiency as a shooter and ability to get to the line, averaging nearly eight FTs a game. Fidler had four games of at least 30 points, including 34 points and 10 rebounds in the conference tournament versus North Dakota. He gives the Spartans a needed offensive boost in the frontcourt next season as the ideal replacement for Malik Hall.
39. Malik Mack - Georgetown Hoyas
2023-24 season stats (at Harvard): 17.2 ppg and 4.8 apg
Mack was one of the best freshmen performers in all of NCAA Basketball last season, earning Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors after leading Harvard in scoring/passing. His 32-point outing against UMass and 27 points versus Indiana put him on the national scene and now he’ll be in DC at Georgetown, paired with Jayden Epps to make one of the top Big East backcourts next season.
38. Kevin Miller - SMU Mustangs
2023-24 season stats (at Wake Forest): 15.6 ppg and 3.5 apg
Miller flew under the radar next to star guard Hunter Sallis but he also played at an All-ACC level, shooting 46% from the field and scoring 20+ points on nine different occasions. That includes a 31-point effort versus App State in the NIT. He remains in the ACC, now as the expected lead guard for the new conference program, SMU.
37. JT Toppin - Texas Tech Red Raiders
2023-24 season stats (at New Mexico): 12.4 ppg and 9.1 rpg
The 6’9 forward was the Mountain West Rookie of the Year, shooting 62% from the field and blocking two shots a game. Toppin produced 12 double-doubles and went for 25 points and 13 rebounds versus Air Force. Texas Tech did well with the previous Mountain West freshman star (Darrion Williams) and will need Toppin to have a big impact inside at center, replacing Warren Washington.
36. Milos Uzan - Houston Cougars
2023-24 season stats (at Oklahoma): 9.0 ppg and 4.4 apg
The 6’4 guard started the last two years with the Sooners, leading them in passing while shooting 39% from the field. Uzan had seven games with at least seven assists, including a 13-point and 10-assist game at TCU. Houston returned its entire core from last season outside of Big 12 POY guard Jamal Shead, with Uzan coming in as his replacement to run the offense.
