35. Aidan Mahaney - UConn Huskies

2023-24 season stats (at Saint Mary’s): 13.9 ppg and 2.6 apg

The 6’3 guard averaged 14 ppg in two years as a starter, shooting 38% from deep on six attempts a game. Mahaney had seven games with at least 20 points, including 23 in the WCC Tournament title game win over Gonzaga. He’s set to be the new lead guard for the two-time national champions, replacing Cam Spencer and Stephon Castle in the backcourt.

34. Terrence Edwards - Louisville Cardinals

2023-24 season stats (at James Madison): 17.2 ppg and 4.4 rpg

The 6’6 guard was the lead scorer for the Sun Belt champs, earning Conference POY honors. Edwards had 10 games with at least 20 points, including a career-high 30 in a win over Georgia State. He’s part of the new roster at Louisville, likely to be one of the go-to options on offense as a proven star scorer on a winning program.

33. Dug McDaniel - Kansas State Wildcats

2023-24 season stats (at Michigan): 16.3 ppg and 4.7 apg

Due to academic issues, the 5’11 guard played 26 games last season but still was easily the best player for the Wolverines, leading them in scoring and passing. McDaniel shot 37% from deep and had six games with at least 20 points, including a pair of 33-point outings. He’s now the new lead guard at Kansas State, replacing last year’s star, Tylor Perry.

32. Myles Rice - Indiana Hoosiers

2023-24 season stats (at Washington State): 14.8 ppg and 3.8 apg

Rice was the big story last season, overcoming Cancer and missing multiple seasons to become a breakout Pac-12 star. The 6’2 guard had six games with at least 20 points, including a season-high 35 points and eight assists at Stanford. Rice joins Carlyle in the new Indiana backcourt as a likely starter and since he can play both on and off the ball, should be able to have a big impact for the Hoosiers.

31. Tyrese Hunter - Memphis Tigers

2023-24 season stats (at Texas): 11.1 ppg and 4.1 apg

Hunter has 106 career starts at Texas and Iowa State, coming off career-high shooting splits of 45% FG shooting and 34% from deep. The veteran point guard had a few big scoring outings, including 30 points and seven assists in a win over Oklahoma. Hunter brings veteran experience and leadership to a Memphis squad coming off a down year as an expected backcourt starter.
