10. PJ Haggerty - Memphis Tigers

2023-24 season record (at Tulsa): 21.2 ppg, 5.5 rpg, and 3.8 apg

The redshirt freshman was one of the best pure scorers in the country last season, regardless of class. Haggerty had 10 games of at least 25 points, including 32 in an upset win over South Florida. He remains in the AAC playing for Coach Penny Hardaway and Memphis. He’s set to be the new lead guard, replacing Jahvon Quinerly from last year.

9. Tramon Mark - Texas Longhorns

2023-24 season stats (at Arkansas): 16.2 ppg and 4.3 rpg

As rough of a past season Arkansas had as a team, Mark was its consistent best player, shooting 48% from the field and 36% from deep. He had huge outings such as 34 points against UNC and 35 versus Texas A&M and will remain in the SEC as one of the best individual scorers in the league for Texas alongside fellow transfer, Jordan Pope.

8. Robbie Avila - Saint Louis Billikens

2023-24 season stats (at Indiana State): 17.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, and 4.1 apg

Arguably the best passing big man in all of NCAA Basketball, Avila shot 54% from the field and 39% from deep as an incredible offensive talent. That includes a career-high 35 points and eight rebounds in a win over Evansville. He followed his coach Josh Schertz over to the A-10 program, while Avila enters as a big favorite for Conference POY next season.

7. Jonas Aidoo - Arkansas Razorbacks

2023-24 season stats (at Tennessee): 11.4 ppg and 7.3 rpg

The 6’11 center is one of the best defensive anchors in all of NCAA Basketball, blocking nearly two shots a game. Aidoo also doubled his scoring production from the year prior, including 29 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Georgia Southern. He also remains in the SEC, anchoring the defense Coach John Calipari and the new-look Razorbacks.

6. Norchad Omier - Baylor Bears

2023-24 season stats (at Miami): 17.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg

The 6’7 big man is one of the most accomplished players in the sport, including his two-year stint previously at Arkansas State where he won Sun Belt POY. Omier, one of the nation’s leaders in double-doubles, had a 33-point game at Notre Dame this past season and pulled down 17 rebounds versus Stonehill. He’s now at Baylor, replacing Yves Missi as the new starting center, and based on his past production, has a good chance to lead the Big 12 in rebounding.
