NCAA Basketball: Ranking of top 100 impact transfers for 2024-25 season
95. Joshua Cohen - USC Trojans
2023-24 season stats (at UMass): 15.9 ppg and 6.8 rpg
After dominating the NEC at St. Francis, Cohen proved he could produce at a higher level, earning all-league honors in the A-10 after leading UMass in scoring. Cohen is one of the better interior scorers in NCAA Basketball and has a good chance at being the focal point in USC’s new frontcourt next season.
94. Zion Harmon - Seton Hall Pirates
2023-24 season stats (at Bethune-Cookman): 14.6 ppg and 4.0 apg
Harmon is a former top-50 recruit out of high school who reportedly dealt with personal issues, pausing his college career. He spent the past two years dominating the SWAC, though he did shoot under 40% from the field. With Kadary Richmond and Dre Davis gone, Harmon will be the next lead guard for the Pirates, who’ll need a more efficient version of him to be competitive in the Big East.
93. Kobe Sanders - Nevada Wolf Pack
2023-24 season stats (at Cal Poly): 19.6 ppg and 3.2 apg
Sanders started games throughout his 4-year career at Cal Poly but last season was a big breakout campaign offensively, nearly tripling his scoring average in personal high numbers. The 6’5 senior was in double figures in every game, including six with at least 30 points last season. Nevada lost its top two scorers (Jarod Lucas and Kenan Blackshear) so the hope is that Sanders can be the next impact transfer guard for the program.
92. Jamarii Thomas - South Carolina Gamecocks
2023-24 season stats (at Norfolk State): 16.9 ppg and 3.8 apg
The 6’0 point guard earned MEAC POY honors, leading Norfolk in scoring. Thomas, who had originally committed to VCU this offseason, is the guard replacement for Meechie Johnson, who was South Carolina’s best guard last season. The MEAC and SWAC transfers have started to be more consistent moving up levels so there’s hope the Gamecocks found a hidden gem in Thomas.
91. Keba Keita - BYU Cougars
2023-24 season stats (at Utah): 8.3 ppg and 5.4 rpg
The 6’8 big man started 13 games at Utah and was efficient in 16 mpg, shooting 61% from the field, and had some big outings, including 18 points and 15 rebounds in a win over Oregon State. He goes to rival BYU, replacing Aly Khalifa in the frontcourt and pairing with Fousseyni Traore for a physical and athletic duo in the Big 12.
