12. Notre Dame at Georgia

In the transfer portal era, it’s rare to see a power conference matchup where both teams will be led by underclassmen. The Irish have Markus Burton and Braeden Shrewsberry, two of the better sophomore guards in the ACC, along with a top-25 incoming recruiting class.

Meanwhile, Georgia has 5-star forward Asa Newell and top-40 center prospect (and former Kentucky commit) Somto Cyril joining the team. Plus, guards Silas Demary and Blue Cain are potential breakout candidates to watch as sophomores. This game, and their seasons, could come down to which young core is ready to contribute more.

11. Georgia Tech at Oklahoma

Although they lost leading scorer Miles Kelly to the portal, Georgia Tech brought back two potential sophomore stars in guard Naithan George and big man Baye Ndongo. Plus, 4-star guard prospect Jaeden Mustaf will look to have an impact. It’s a roster with postseason potential in Coach Damon Stoudamire’s second year and they should be the favorites over Oklahoma, who went through a complete roster rebuild.

Besides having a completely new roster, Coach Porter Moser is heading to the SEC, where he and the team could have a rough time. They’ll need new guards, Duke Miles, Kobe Brea, and JUCO All-American big Jeff Nwankwo to have a big impact to be competitive, and right now, it’s an open question with the Sooners.
