Arkansas Razorbacks

New head coach John Calipari has the tough challenge of rebuilding an entire roster after replacing Eric Musselman. The good news is that he’s brought with him a few former Kentucky commits in Karter Knox and Billy Richmond, along with 5-star guard prospect, Boogie Fland.

But Coach Cal knows that he needs to add some veterans to have a good enough roster to compete in the SEC in year 1 at his new stop. Having a ball-handler who can do it all like Kadary Richmond helps fill multiple holes on the roster and takes pressure off freshmen such as Fland. And for Kadary, he’d play on one of the biggest stages, in front of many NBA scouts.

Kentucky Wildcats

Coach Mark Pope has been landing some transfers as of late, including respective Conference Defensive Players of the Year, Amari Williams, and San Diego State transfer, Lamont Butler. Richmond has been a candidate for Big East Defensive Player of the Year and would be a nice fit into the new system.

With both Richie Saunders and Dallin Hall opting to stay at BYU, Coach Pope needs to look elsewhere to find an ideal ball-handler to run the offense. Richmond would get just as big a role as he did at Seton Hall, this time, for a blue blood program.
